Welcome to the second edition of the Queensland Marine Turtle Network (QMTN) Newsletter!
Over the past year, QMTN has continued to grow, with a strong focus on strengthening the network, supporting collaboration, and connecting organisations involved in marine turtle conservation across Queensland.
In this edition, you’ll find updates on the establishment of the new QMTN Management Committee, key findings from the 2025 QMTN Membership Survey, a member spotlight featuring Team Turtle CQ, information on upcoming webinars and the 2026 Australian Marine Turtle Symposium, and other news from across the network.
We hope you enjoy reading this edition and encourage you to share it with colleagues, volunteers and others interested in marine turtle conservation.
